Private sheltered camping field for tents and small campervans. Level pitches including 4 with electric hookups. During 2012 the site added a new toilet and shower block with free shower, disabled access and washing up sinks. The site has a maturing shelter belt of trees and offers a quiet rural location on North Rhinns within 2 miles of both the sea and village shop at Leswalt. Stranraer is five miles away. Dogs welcome. View to Ulster and ferries crossing the sea from top of field. Wildlife in abundance. Owners have camped for many years themselves. Quiet lanes for cycling, walking, exploring empty beaches, visiting Wigtownshire, and catching ferries to Ulster. Barbecues and campfires possible. 5 miles NW of Stranraer. 2 miles to Leswalt village, with general store. 2 miles to sea, rocky cliffs and isolated beaches. 10 miles to Portpatrick harbour and village. Full details are available via the weblink above.
Total pitches: 7 tents 3 small campervans
Pub Within 5 miles

North Rhinns Camping
First of all the greeting at the gate was wonderfull then shown to are pitch which was lovley. The owners R and K Googe was the most kindist people we have met in a long time, the company was great and they will go out of there way to help in anyway they can. I have rated this camp site as i think it should be, I have rated facilities for kids a 4 because there is loads to do for kids if they are open minded but theres no play ground or anythink but that to me is a good thing as i belive this camp site is for quite people trying to get away for a few days which if you are then this is the site for you. As for the utilities room it was stunning lovley and clean always. So on that note thank you for having us this weekend it was a really good trip and looking forward to seeing you again in august Mr jones
