We are situated 1 mile south of Carinish village on the main road, A865, through the Southern Isles. The site is positioned overlooking a tidal bay with views of the neighbouring island of Benbecula and also the hills of South Uist. Ideally located for shoreline and moorland walks with several places of historical interest close by with easy access to public transport. Site also includes small bunkhouse with 6 bunks finished to a high standard. See weblink above for full information

Moorcroft Holidays
I really recommend this campsite if you are stayin in the the Uists. It just opened in May 2010 and hosts Ian and Catriona have ensured that the facilities are immaculately clean and modern. There are two very good showers and toilets in each washroom and a disabled facility. There is also a great wee campers kitchen with a fridge, cooker, grill washing macine and tumble drier (an honesty jar is there for the washing machine and drier - £3 each use). Didn't stay in the bunkhouse but it was also decorated and maintainted to the to the same high standard.
