Category: Perthshire Situated deep in Highland Perthshire this site is conveniently located right next door to the wonderful Queens View. The site nestles on the edge of Loch Tummel offering a great camping experience. There is a small facilities block onsite. The Queens View visitors centre offers a small tourist shop and cafe during the summer season.

Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm Had to write a review, although it's been 45 years since we stayed there every year on our Summer Holidays, driving up from Southern England with the family caravan. Dad, Mum, my two younger brothers and sister, and Myself !! Just the most beautiful place in the world to spend a family camping holiday. The Loch, The Island. The people !! The place childhood dreams are made !! Glad to see the place still going strong !!! Would highly recommend this place !!! Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm We recently returned from a week staying at this campsite. We pitched our tent right next to the loch and the views were absolutely magnificent. We could not have asked for a better pitch. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and the showers had endless hot water. We would recommend this campsite to anybody, although maybe we should keep quiet... Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm Well, we are just back from a two night weekend stay and happy to report we had the best of times. Yes, the site is basic, yes there is no shop, and yes the toilets are in portocabins, but they are clean with scalding hot water... The view is what makes this camp site worth going to, and rather special. Based right on the banks of Loch Tummel, sitting beside your tent with a glass of wine, it was a pleasure to watch the sun set over the loch, a great way to unwind after a hectic week at the office. By the way Pitlochry is only about 6 miles away, and worth a visit anyway, so don't worry too much if you have forgotten somthing. Would recomend going for the views alone, but if you are a fisher then you will be in heaven, and yes there are fish there, we even saw one getting caught. If you have a boat, wind surf board, kayak, then again as other people have said, launching is free, if you are a resident. Cost us £31 for two nights, one adult two children. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2010. We had planned to join a larger group at nearby Faskally (Pitlochry) but it was full .. Lucky break for us. This place beat the socks of the big commercial carbuncle up the road! The location is superb, right on the loch-side with a few tent pitches right on the banks of the loch. Look for the pitch at the promentory at the slipway - you are almost camping on the water! The owners were great, very helpful and relaxed but were clearly on top of things. Very few amenities on the site but really the location is the attraction here. Only downside for me was the toilets got very muddy - but it is a farm, We were there on a rainy weekend so everyone was dragging the mud from the farmyard into what were admittedly quite basic facilities so it was very difficult to keep them as clean as you might like. A small price to pay. That said there there was plentiful hot water and no problems with the other campers - all very friendly. All in all this was an excellent campsite and I can say quite confidently that we'll be back! Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm Stunning views over the loch, well worth the travel up. Very friendly staff & great value at £12 per night. Facilities are basic but clean. No play park for kids but who needs it with all the stunning scenary. Will definetly return. stunnng place of our wedding.2004 We accidently fell upon this beauty spot,due to my sons good eye we loved it that much we asked for permission to marry there we did in 2004 we love this place its so beautiful just the haven to enjoy peace for an excilent escape !. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm hi there, first came across this site over 20 years ago, used to go camping ther with the sheep long before statics where there. Cath and Norrie have always been more than helpfull, a credit to there well run and now updated campsite. Not so updated as to take that great feeling of been out in the open away, but enough to make it comfortable for all ages. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm This campsite is fab! the views are stunning from every aspect, this was our second time here as we loved it so much the first time. Toilets and shower facilities are very clean and we never had to queue, the couple who run the site are very welcoming as are thier collies especially Kyle! We also visited the pigs lots as they are very friendly and very very cute! We would recommend this campsite to all, we loved it, hope you do too, we will be back soon. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm stayed there twice recently. was very good for fishing as we were pitched right on the edge of the loch. the owners were friendly and the price was fantastic. will hopefully going back september weekend . all in all a very relaxing place to stay. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm My partner and i went up with our two kids aged 2 and 3, for a weekend to stay with relatives. The people that own the park are really friendly, and give you a nice welcome,,the views from the site over looking the loch and hills are stunning the weather was fantastic on that weekend, We plan on making this particular caravan park a routine holiday spot when the weather is good. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm just back from Loch Tummel, this was my first camping experience and i can't recommend this site enough, the owner was very friendly and let us more or less choose where to pitch our tents, the location is just breathtaking. It didn't matter about the rain (thats what umbrellas and wine are for!!) - We will definitely be back to visit the 2 pigs who were named hot fuzz and o'neill by our kids. Excellent value for money at only £26 for 2 nights for our 2 tents, toilets and showers were absolutely fine, and as has been said by other people just bring your food, wine, beer, juice whatever you partake off and you will be sorted. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm Had a great weekend at this site, the view and location is first rate. Very relaxed owners and just left you to it. Found the ground really good even after about a week of very heavy rain. The site was quite busy but this was in peak season, would definately go back. Toilets and shower block good and not far from the tent area. When you arrive at the site you are not sure what to expect but like most farm sites you need to drive though the farm to get to the best bit which was truly wonderful. They have a couple of hook-ups for tents so if you require one go early. Family who run the site very friendly and kept a good site. Kids had a great time with some other children and loved watching the fisherman catch brown trout.( which we cooked on our barbie) Great site if you like fishing( free to fish) or you have a canoe/boat. Met some great people and really really enjoyed our visit Reluctant to write a review in case everyone flocks to site and we can't get in for a our next visit which will be soon !!! Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm FIRST TIME CAMPING ON THIS SITE. LOCATION WAS AMAZING EVEN THROUGH THE DRIZZLE. TOILETS AND SHOWERS WERE CLEAN AND PLENTY HOT WATER.. THE OWNERS WERE FRIENDLY AND QUICK TO SORT ANY PROBLEMS.. WILL DEFFO BE BACK AND MAYBE HAVE A WEE SING SONG MYSELF... Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm As I am very new to camping (its took my husband nearly 10 years to persuade me!!) I have totally fallen in love with this campsite. Last weekend 20/6/08 was my third visit in 8mths and even though the weather was awful we still had a great time. Everyone is so friendly and laid back especially all thoes that were there for the fishing competition. Cath the owner is lovely and the new toilet and showrer block is a bonus. On Saturday night the residents in the static caravans made us very welcome in the Barn where everybody gathered and had a great night listening to the excellent singers on Karaoke!!!! You just take your own drink and turn up join in the fun and meet some amazing people, especially the lady that tried to teach me how to line dance. Will be going camping a lot more thanks to this wonderfull friendly site. It does not have a shop but the tranquility and the views make up for that small flaw. Just take lots of food and drink and you will manage. Lots of walks and places to visit. Make sure you try the Moulin Inn at Moulin foods amazing. Take lots of skin so soft by Avon for the midges. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm This was a nice site ( June 2008 ) quite busy but friendly staff. There was a new toilet and shower block with electric point. We where there with another couple and the facilities where fine for that. I dont think I would take my 2yr & 7yr old though nothing for them to do although there where alot of older kids there and they had a ball in the loch. Overall a nice site. Loch Tummel Caravan Park Ardgualich Farm visited june '08 site is in a stunning location, very peaceful and quiet,right on the loch tummel. only downfall was lack of onsite shop,had to drive into pitlochry for a pint of milk in the mornings.
