The Campsite is now booked through the Boathouse Cafe Bar and Campsite 01583 505123. Providing facilities for tents and motorhomes. Toilets, Showers, Laundry and Access to Water. Isle of Gigha Camping Beautiful setting minutes from ferry slipway, no need for transport to it. Shower/toilets basic but functional. Shower takes a £1 coin. Pub serves food til 9 ish then you can go up to hotel 5 min walk away. Isle of Gigha We stayed on Gigha in September 2007 and were allowed to take our fairly small camper on to the island having rung the hotel first. The facilities are good enough but they are public facilities so expect to share with walkers etc. The water tap took some finding - it's on the sea side of the facilities. Everyone is very friendly, there is a local shop which sells everything and the island is superb. Isle of Gigha A fantastic site, ive been here twice and cant wait to go back again, the site is owned by the Gigha Hotel just up the road and is very laid back and friendly (as is the island) the facilities are very clean and maintained every day there's also plenty wee bay's and beaches for the kids to fo and explore and at the time all it cost was a donation to the life boat assosiation (this may have changes since. If you are ever in the area you must pop over and pay this fantascic island a wee visit!!!
