If you are looking for a quiet, sheltered haven, Jedburgh is the perfect Site. Ideal for an overnight stop on the way to or from Scotland, it is also worth staying longer to appreciate the Scottish Borders. The town of Jedburgh is around a mile?s walk from Site. Mary Queen of Scots House is now a museum celebrating her life. Bonnie Prince Charlie?s House is on the Town Trail, as is the Friary. Jedforest Deer and Farm Park also houses Jedforest Falconry, where visitors can try hawking or flying and handling owls under supervision. Non Members welcome. Open end of April till end of Oct 2006. Jedburgh Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Very clean, plenty of showers with constant hot water and large dressing area. Managers very friendly and accomodating. Lovely site for rest and relaxation. Perfect as a stepping stone to explore the Scottish Borders and a half way point to higher areas of Scotland. The only downside of this site is the rugby club who have access through the site and also drainage can be poor in wet weather. Good value for money.
Type of accommodation: Camper
