"Surrounded by the Scottish mountains" Our glorious Club Site at Glencoe was fully refurbished last year. All pitches enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The woodlands around the Site have streams tumbling over boulders. Small friendly campsite behind new NTS Glencoe visitors centre on A82.
Total pitches: 120
Pub within 1 mile
Open from Mar to Oct
Our view: Between Glencoe and Village. Walkway to village and local pub. Small shop on site for food supplies. Site has recently been leased to the the Camping and Caravanning Club which has upgraded the facilities but we have to visit since upgrade. Ideal for walk

I am very new to camping so was pleasently suprised with the site facilities, very impressive to say the least. Pitches however were not the best. Very waterlogged (due to weather of course) and in the area we were pitching "churned up by previouse campers tyres" making it impossible for us to pitch in these areas. Have been to a few other sites since with equaly bad weather and although wet were not as boggy as this site. If fantastic toilet and shower facilities is what you want then go here. frankly I think the price we paid (not members) for the pitch we got was too much. Good site facilities, wet pitching, your choice.

We have visited this site a number of times. When it was run by the National Trust of Scotland we were very dissapointed with the quality of the onsite facilities. Since it has been taken over by Caravan & Camping Club, the change in the facilities was something to behold. It is a pity that your star rating only goes to 5*. The only place in which this site fails is in facilities for youngsters. I hope that if they do put in such facilities it is well away from the pitches and th facilities are sympathetic to its surroundings.

Have stayed at this campsite thrice - the first time when it was still run by the National Trust for Scotland, the second time in 2004 before the toilet block was renovated and the third time in May, 2007. I've never seen a fancier toilet block anywhere. Even the washbasins are in individual rooms. The campground is however soft and gets waterlogged easily - thus finding a reasonably dry pitch is difficult during the rains. The site is ringed by hills and very scenic. The midges are however more than I've found anywhere else and extremely irritating. The Nature Interpretation Centre next door is interesting and worth a visit. I found the charges extremely high for non-members of the Camping & Caravanning Club.

Beautiful location; excellent washroom facilities, 5 star showers - suitable for disabled access. Good provision of (lit) shelters, suitable for socialising when wet. Staff v. friendly. Lovely woodland walk to the village - spotted my first wild otter!

A stunning location and a toilet block that would rival many hotels. This has to to be the best site in the country for adult hillwalkers and stopovers for tourers. The site has been based on peat which makes tent-pitching a dream but you might have to pitch a little distance from your car as the ground is soft. I found it a little bit expensive as I am not a member of the Caravan Club but the showers alone are worth the extra. If you are in the area then stay here.

Nice apart from the midges
A basic clean camp site. Views are great and the walk to Glen Coe village is not to far. Not a lot of facilites but very peacefull. We had a very enjoyable time apart from the midges, which were the worst I have ever experienced and unfortunately this forced us to leave early and find another site (although nobody else seemed as bothered by them as us).
