just spent a week here, what a place to visit. as has been said before not the easiest site to get to but well worth it. could not fault it at all and the toilets and showers were kept spotlessly clean.mr and mrs henderson very helpful and friendly, nothing to much trouble. just one recommendation gleaned from the locals, if youre going when midges are likely, try skin so soft from avon. seems to be the only thing that worked. if you do go look out for toby on the lochaline to fishnish ferry, very helpful.

Morvern is a land that time forgot - the journey to this site involves(usually) crossing the Corran ferry & a fairly tortuous drive, almost to the end of the road but it sure is worth it! A very small site so 'phone before coming as alternative sites are not near. Very friendly owners and an immaculately kept site with spotless facilities almost unique for a site of this size. Pitches are right on the waterfront overlooking the Sound of Mull which provides a constant day & night panorama of ferries & small fishing boats. Careful stewardship has obviously resulted in an ever changing array of visiting wildlife - several flotillas of shepherded ducklings were in training when we were there. Prices very reasonable so join the C & C club so you can go here but don't just go because it's convenient for the Mull ferry, go to lose yourself for a few days. Second thoughts don't go at all - I want to keep this to myself!!

This site is not the easiest to find but the trip was well worth it as it is a lovely location on the Sound of Mull. The facilities are excellent and are obviously well cared for by the owners Mr a Mrs Henderson. The site is quite small but is all the better for it being within a stones throw of the water and Mull in the background. There are walks nearby and if one takes the time to walk up the hill opposite the views are wonderful.
