Invereck Countryside Holiday Park
A lovely site and clean with good flat ground to pitch a tent on. Let down by beign a little expensive and the toilet block being very small with no hot water (pay showers) and not that close to the tent area. There was also only one WC which had no light. Saying that though, I would use the site again for a stopover as it was a pleasand place to be.

Arrived after spell of wet weather site low lying so a bit boggy in areas. Lots of spahgnum moss and midges so pack the avon skin so soft. Lady in office very friendly and no advance booking is required. Showers are 40p for six minutes but they could have been a bit cleaner. There is not much on site but it is very peacful and a nice site to relax and chill out a bit. There is a local bus service into Dunoon and Sandback has a pub that does meals. The Cot House nearby has closed and was like the marie Celeste when we visited with tables set for dinner though it had closed in November. What a shame buta sign of the times.

We camped here with tents and the site is absolutely beautiful with mountains, pine trees and wildlife and its own river for fishing. The staff are friendly and keep an eye on the site so no rowdy drunks. It is ideal for families and children with lots of space to run around in. 10 min drive from the town of Dunoon for convienience. 1 hour from Glasgow. Excellent. Only downlisde were the showers which are clean but a bit old.
