Bordering miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches typical of the Moray Firth Coastline, Silver Sands Leisure Park offers not only excellent facilities but, an unrivalled playground for both children and the young at heart. An abundance of caves, rock pools and sand dunes teeming with wildlife line the beach making it a haven for peaceful walks or exploring. Having one of the lowest rainfall levels in Scotland, Morayshire is an ideal holiday destination combining an excellent climate with lots to see and do. The Royal Air Force are located directly opposite the park. Stationed there are Tornado jets and Sea King rescue helicopters and these can provide an added attraction to visitors. Open almost all year closing only between mid January to mid February.

Silver Sands Park
great park.entertainment good, beach a walk away and very good.this camp site is only a short drive from where we live but is good fun.my kids are getting a bit older so they dont do the kids activities, only thing missing from this site is an indoor pool.somewhere for kids to go if the weather is bad.always hot water in showers, could be done with socket in toilet block for the hairdryer.highly recommended park.

Nothing can really match this site for natural seaside beauty with its gorgeous sandy beach which stretches for miles, but oh dear! what a let down for the caravanner and camper with outdated facilities, broken showers and generally poorly maintained toilet block which is totally inadequate for the numbers using the facilities. Although there are hard stands these are no longer available except to season bookings and the grass stands are so over-used that they are extremely bumby and almost bare of grass. Not the site that it used to be!

Used the site twice in 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great site, great location and very handy for the beach. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Facilities on site were clean and the whole site is well kept. I've only added a 2 star for the kids facilities because I'm quite a bit past that stage as is my 17 old son but what was there looked good for kids. There's even a chip shop on site. An added attraction is the proximity to RAF Lossiemouth with jets and helicopters flying right over the top of the site. An added bonus and really the main reason for our visit.

Was there in Aug 2007. Brill weather for long walks along the beach etc. Entertainment in the bar/club room was good with the price of a pint better than my local. The chip shop on site is value for money. The toilet blocks have been done since the last review was posted,, plenty of hot water. Will be making this an annual event.

Miles of Sand
We go to this site on a regular basis for the miles of golden sands and the thrill of watching the jets. The staff are very helpfull and the site is well laid out The only down side is that the toilet blocks are getting a bit out dated and could well do with a complete refurbishment.

Tornado
Good site with very good facilities and kept clean. The noise from the RAF base, which is next door, can be a bit much. There were tornados flying low overhead until 11pm the first night we were there. Surprising how you get used to it though.
