The Old Mill Holiday Park
As we had changed travel plans we just turned up to this site. As previous reviewers state the camping ground is next to the road, but not too busy. We were the only campers and the grass was well kept. Unfortunately, this was not the same with the toilet / shower blocks. The blocks are in need of updating and general repair. I was unable to get hot water in the showers and other campers informed me they had reported this 2 days previously. The site does have a pub next door, not noisy and does food (we didn't visit).

The Old Mill Holiday Park
Downside... t'was a bit noisy. Site is next to the A96 and close to railway, so expect some obvious traffic noise. Small animal farm has donkeys, geese, rabbits, hens and (oh no) a rooster! The camping area is located nearest to the road. Toilets were cleaned once, early each day, but became more muddy as the day progressed. Upside... The Old Mill Inn is almost on-site and Brodie Countryfare is right across the road, also Brodie Castle and Gardens. Camping area was busy (but not full) over Friday/Saturday but was very quiet the rest of the week with only half dozen tents (in high season/Aug). No midge problems when we were there, even though there's a river that runs alongside the site. Staff were friendly enough. (August 2009)
