Biggar Caravan Park
What a lovely location right on the golf course overlooking a boating lake. Only a 5 minute walk and you find one of the nicest high streets you could hope for. It's an old fashioned town with 'real' shops. We had dinner in the Crown pub and it was superb...def go there, well worth it. really nice coffee shop called Aroma on over side of street

Good Site . Mainly caters for caravans, but we were under canvas and were fine. On site golf course/tennis courts/football pitch/play park / lake. Laundry & toilet facilities well maintained. 10 min. walk into Biggar High St, which is also nice.

Just got back after a short break trying out our new tent, will certainly be back to this site. It has everything you need boating pond for the kids, we had a net and caught loads of minnows(really small fish), swing park, football pitch, great walks. Facilities are great, spotless you cant fault them, staff are really friendly too. All in all we had a great time and cant wait to go back!

Weekend trip
Just returned from this site after a weekend trying out our very secondhand trailer tent. We had a lovely pitch with views of the boating pond. The people in the golf club office where you pay were really friendly and helpful. There is a little cafe/snack bar and the golf club house on site also serves meals but we didn't venture there. Mostly touring vans on site all year round and the toilet block is most convenient for them so if you don't want to have a night time stroll take your own porta loo. (We returned and went to Lidl and got one for our next trip) I have limited mobility but to the more agile it isn't too drastic a trip. The site is very clean and well looked after with a good play park for my 4 1/2 year old to enjoy. You are also able to buy a ticket for use of the facilities. Bike hire, boats on pond, pitch and putt, tennis and green bowls. There is also an 18 hole council owned golf course which looks really flat but am assured is quite challenging a number of hazzards to avoid. Enjoyed our stay and if you are looking for an overnighter before continuing your journey it is ideal! We will certainly be back.
