Craigendmuir Park is conveniently situated on the doorstep of Glasgow, just off the A80, one of Scotland's main arterial routes to the North. The Park is also easily accessed by those without motor transport, by rail and by bus from Glasgow. The level and spacious site is ideal for anyone looking for the ideal base for a holiday in and around West Central Scotland, or as a stopover for a few days whilst touring. The site has a large camping and touring area which was extensively upgraded in 2007 with new electric hookups, disposal points and facility blocks. It also offers chalet and static caravan accommodation. John, Ivan and the staff look forward to welcoming you personally. Situated 5 miles from city centre with excellent road and rail links. See weblink above for full information.

Craigendmuir Caravan and Camping Park
We stayed on the site for five days. The site is perfectly situated near the railway station, the train takes just 10 minutes to Glasgow. The facilities were very clean and tidy and the landlady was smashing friendly. We will return!

Craigendmuir Caravan and Camping Park
I camped here in June 2008, for the start of a 200 mile bike ride from Glasgow to Edinburgh. The warden was very helpful. The area for tents is level, grassy and quiet. Water, toilets, showers and a washing up room are close by. The location at Stepps is the nearest to central Glasgow for camping (about 5 miles east of the centre). I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice site so near to Glasgow.

We are writing to you from Canada. We rented a MotorHome and travelled all of Scotland in August 2006. The staff here were very friendly and informative. They called us a taxi whenever we needed one to travel to town centre. The park is located a far distance from the town centre but it's not a big deal when you take a private hire taxi. The bus doesn't run too often so it makes it difficult. The only complaint would be that the shower blocks kept breaking down and running out of hot water. They had them fixed quickly though. All in all, a great place to stay for your money!

Surprisingly Good
We have just returned from Craigendmuir Park, where we spent a week staying whilst visiting family in Glasgow. We were wary as this was the first time we had stayed at a caravan park. The caravan we stayed in, although not brand new, was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although very busy they had time for everyone. The park is being redeveloped and although work was in progress this did not in any way spoil our stay.
