Lochside Caravan Park
it was a brill campsite. we were ment to stay for two nights but we had a hard night the first night and it was going the same way for the second so we decided to come home to make it easier or ourselves. it was no fault to the campsite.. It was very nice and clean place and l would go back ..

Lochside Caravan Park
Stayed for a couple of nights in June 2009 with my 3 kids (10,8,6). Campsite is IMMACULATELY maintained, and toilet block is SPOTLESS. There is a great play park, football pitches, pitch n putt, leisure centre and the Forfar town centre all within a few hundred yards. Only minor gripe is that the warden was a wee bit over zealous in not allowing the kids to kick a ball back and forth. However, that's minor, and I would definitely recommend this site.

this site was ideally located with nice flat pitches, the wardens were more than friendly and helpful, the toilet and washing facilities were second to none, there was plenty of room, immaculate, and fresh. 1 downside if it does rain it does retain water, our tent faced a bit of a flood but in true form everyone rallied round and a good holiday was had by all. It hasn't put us off we will be heading back again soon.

Queen Mother of sites
1. Clean showers and toilets in heated block with plenty of space to both wash and get dry without getting your clean clothes soaked. 2. Site in the middle of a thriving market town - easy access to shops and pubs. 3. Site right next to a Loch and a Leisure complex - (no swimming pool)- can go for a walk or run around the Loch - (2 and a half miles in total on flat terrain. 4. Angus Glens and Mountains a few miles away for hill walking. 5.Close to Dundee for shopping, sites etc. - Close to Montrose and Brechin - Angus market towns. 6. Fly cup in Forfoar at one of the numerous cafes. (?1.50 - icludes fancy piece - special offer at most of the cafes in the afternoon.) 7. "Real" Ironmongers and Ceramics/pottery shop with many collectable pieces - Founded in 1840 - "Irons" - in the main square. Remind yourelf of what a proper shop with good service is truly like. Oh yes the site - very clean; level pitches; plenty of water access points; very sheltered; nice views even though in the centre of town. Downside - not many; Does not accept credit or debit cards; water tastes very odd -coffee and tea had decided 2after taste2. ( this has been confirmed by other visitors). Best to stick to alcohol.
