We returned to Woodlands recently with our 3 year old son. We knew from previous experience that it would be a great location for first time camping with him. It remains as well kept, secure and clean as ever. Bill and Mary are always on hand for any support ... the site has made a few changes since last visit. Wifi now available and the kitchen area now provides toasters, kettles and microwaves for us cosy campers! Delighted it has stayed as we remember it and will definitely be returning very soon.

Just back from 3 nights at Woodlands. A very well Show more

Just back from 3 nights at Woodlands. A very well looked after site, very clean showers and washing facilities. the gardens and grounds are very well tended, plenty of nice flowers and plants. very spacious pitch for our tents and nice short level grass. The crows nesting in the large trees can be a bit noisy during the dawn chorus but it didn't put us off. Warden was very helpful and friendly, gave us a quick tour when we arrived so we knew where everything was. I'll be going back here again, one of the nicest wee sites I've been to.

As 1st time campers wasn't sure where to go Show more

As 1st time campers wasn't sure where to go to, so read reviews about Woodlands & decided to head there! Really friendly & helpful wardens on arrival & the campsite did not disappoint us. Everything was spotless! Toilets & showers were immaculate & campsite really well maintained by the wardens. Just a short walk to the local shops & great park at the beach for the kids to play at. We shall certainly be returning in the near future to Woodlands as I think the whole family has now caught the camping bug! 10/10. A Big Thanks.
