Kings Green Caravan Site
Our first impressions were somewhat negative as the site is close to one of the main roads into Port William and local resident housing. However, within a couple of hours we realised actually what a cracking site this is! The toilet / shower block although small was very clean and tidy and well maintained throughout the stay. There is a small play part next to the site for kids (of all ages!) and the views out over Luce Bay and the Mull of Galloway were simply stunning. The sun sets will blow your mind! The site was also extremely quiet and everybody staying there seemed respectful of keeping down the noise levels after hours. Pitches are level and spacious (although a little stony in places for tent pegs) with plenty of room for all including cars. The beach is literally a stones throw from the edge of the site and although it is a pebble beach is excellent for walking and enjoying the views with a few beers. There didn't seem to be that many tourist spots within a short distance of the site, but the coastal roads offer a great drive out and the lighthouse at the Mull of Galloway is well worth a visit. Overall a great location for peace and quiet, great views, and a short get-away. Highly recommended.

Kings Green Caravan Site
Lovely, tidy site, very peaceful, large level pitches. Showers/toilet very clean, lots of hot water. Right next to sea, but beach very stoney. Good safe playgrond for kids next to site. The warden is very friendly and helpful,we really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Very cheap but excellant site!

blown away!
This is an excellent site for a quiet, peaceful holiday amidst beautiful scenery; it is located, quite literally, next to the sea and the views are fantastic. The campsite is level, very tidy and the shower/washing up block very clean. We found it to be a great base from which to explore the Withorn peninsula and would definitely return.
