Glenluce Caravan and Camping Site
Great little site which in comparison is good value (£20 p/n for 3 with electric) Given the rain this year, site stayed pretty well drained. though volume of water in the burn meant it was too noisy to pitch on the best area next to it. No play area for kids (there is a playpark in town) but great wooded area and of course the burn for kids to play. You can also book the small indoor pool for yourselves by the hour which is good. No shop onsite ,but the local store is 200mts away for esentials, and it's 10 miles to Stranraer for main stores. Chippy opposite Tesco in town is excellent and good value, sit in or takeaway. All in all a nice campsite though a little closed in by trees for me, restricting any veiws. You get a great natter and any help you need from the lady who runs the show.

Stayed there 1st May bank holiday 2007. Lovely camp site with warm showers and clean toilets. Had a great time only slight downside was the traffic noise. Only really heard it when there was no wind or rain!!! But we will be back..

stayed here aug 2006 for our first experience of camping. great little site right next to village. hot showers tented area in walled garden with river, very peaceful. it was gala week when we visited lots going on. the locals could not be more friendly and made us feel as though we had lived there for years. went to the highlands this year but next year will definatly return to this site.
