In a beautiful quiet setting on the southern shores of the Beauly Firth, the park enjoys wonderful views over the water to Ben Wyvis and the hills beyond. The 20 acres of peaceful sheltered parkland surrounded by mature trees offer a welcome haven to campers and caravanners.

Bunchrew Caravan Park
Visited Bunchrew Caravan Park July 2010. Very nice place, best location at the side of the Bauly Firth and a good place to relax in the middle of a 3 weeks caravan tour around Scotland. All facilitries very clean, the staff extremly helpful und in the shop you get everything you need. The atmosphere is a bit like camp sites in sweden. We recommend this side to all campers visiting the Inverness aerea.

Nice place to camp not far from Inverness. Yes, maybe toilet facilities a bit out-dated but friendly owner willing to give information about things to visit in the region and little shop to help out for urgent necessities! Preferd this campsite to the other in Inverness surrounded by houses! My only complaint was that (probably beacause families on holiday!), a lot of young girls congregating in the toilet block!!!!

It is such a shame that the facilites have not been updated on this site. We stayed there 6 years ago and everything is just the same. Slippery tiled floor in the toilets and showers. Tumble dryers that don't work properly. Just exactly the same as 6 years ago. Site is big and the majority of campers do consider others staying there, dogs barking at anything that passed them by was one of the problems while we were there. Friendly site owners but please do something about the slippery floors

This was the first site we visited on our 2 week camping trip and we had to force ourselves to move on after 4 nights!!! Perfectly located just 3 miles outside Inverness and a short drive from Beauly. Lots of level grass pitches for tents with beautiful views over the Beauly Firth. Big trees offering shelter - not that we needed it as we had lovely sunny weather. Toilets and showers could do with a bit of a refresh however they were always clean with plenty hot water. Owner was very friendly and always on hand to help. Wee shop onsite providing the basics and a hot food wagon serving hot rolls at breakfast and hot meals in the evening - very handy for the morning you are moving on !!! Lovely relaxed atmosphere onsite with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

Visited this site as part of a one week camping trip. Site is ideally located for day trips in and around Inverness. Facilities included shop and laundry. Toilets would benefit from a make-over and the male showers were below par with luke warm water. Staff extremely helpful (even provided an extension cord to allowing us find a sheltered pitch but still hook-up). All in all - a great wee site that we would definitely use again.

Best place we've ever visited, so much space on perfect flat grass, Views over the water are second to none. Always seems to be a beautiful day, even if everywhere else is miserable.

Although the weather had been very wet and the ground was boggy to say the least the staff did everything in their power to accomodate everyone. The facilities although they have not been upgraded in the years we have been going their are kept clean and their is plenty of hot water for washing up

It was a lovely holiday in Scotland. Your caravan park is the best. What a view from the living room!!!! I can still see the view, its imprinted on my mind, its the perfect location in front of the firth and mountains. the service was excellent, right from the cleaner, Gosha and shop keeper. The shop was very handy, all basic things available at supermarkets price. This was our first holiday in caravan. It has made a very good impression. free bike hire for static hire. very close to inverness city centre. regular bus service from caravan park to city centre every half hour and only takes 15 minutes. surrounding area is beautiful too. u can take a view of beauley firth from the top of hill. forest walks nearby. walk by the firth is lovely too. It is children friendly as well. my little one enjoyed running on the green grass , sand park , swings ,slides, walking on Beauly firth, throwing stones in water…………. It was a very good experience and I will remember and cherish for all my life. I will definitely recommend BUNCHREW CARAVAN PARK to everyone.

Very pleasant sea-front location very close to Inverness. We were the only tent there this weekend, and we had a lovely spot right by the shore. The park is fairly large and there is a grass area designated for tents, although we were told we could camp on the caravan area next to the sea. There are quite a few picnic benches, which would have been welcome in dryer weather or longer days. There's no denying that the toilet block walls need a good brushing down, but the facilities themselves were very clean, with plenty of hot water. The warden was very friendly and helpful, which is always nice. We would come here again and feel that a simple sprucing up of the toilet/shower blocks would easily add another star to the rating.

Camped here for 3 nights in mid August. Camping area itself was quiet allowing plenty of room for pitching the tent and for the car. There were plenty of picnic benches too - we moved one alongside out tent, which was great. Most of the camping area is well sheltered from the wind, either surrounded by trees or by trees scattered throughout. It cost ?12 per night for a medium sized tent, 3 adults and a car which seemed reasonable. The onsite facilities we used were the small shop, dish washing facilities, hot showers and toilets. The shop seemed fairly decent and stocked more than just the bare essentials. The dish washing facilities are basically 2 sinks (with very very hot water) in a small building - perfectly adequite, buy may be crowded during busy periods. The showers were hot, and there were 4 male shower cubicles in total. The showers seemed reasonably clean and they were hot, but the condition was below average. The toilets were similar. Both could do with refurbishment. The site itself is situated on the shore of the Beauly Firth in a very quiet location. However, there is a railway nearby and you can hear the trains passing through the day. Other than this the site is very peaceful. The site is easily found - simply head out of Inverness towards Beauly for a few miles and look for the signs. :) Didn't travel with kids, but the onside facilities seemed limited to a small playpark, a volleyball net and open space for playing. Probably not somewhere I would take kids to. I'd recommend it to friends and would come again without much hesitation, but hopefully the shower and toilet facilities are refurbished soon.

From a caravanners point of view I was very disappointed with this site. The site itself is very good but the facilities are amongst the worst I have experienced in my limited time of caravanning. Would go back but only once the facilities (toilets and Showers) have been replaced.

Great campsite with fantastic views @ night with the setting sun. Kids loved it. Will definately go back. I know that the great weather helped but couldn't have asked for anything more. Campsite was well laid out with tents almost on the peeble beach. Showers could do with being updated a bit.

A beautiful and tranquil site where you will want for nothing as everything is there. I would definately recommend this site to singles/couples and families and could not believe how quiet it was so we really chilled out here! Beautiful views and the staff could not help you enough. We would definately go back!

Camp at the waters edge
Excellent campsite, have stayed here over many years. Well laid out, picnic tables, clean toilet/shower blocks. Not noisy. Has an international feel during the summer months with campers from across the globe. About 5 miles from the city of Inverness and about 2 miles from a great real ale pub! Try it you won't be dissapointed
