Faichemard Farm Caravan and Camping Site
I stayed on this site in September 2010 and can't recommend it highly enough. The location was beautiful, the grounds well maintained, the site facilities were clean and the owners very friendly and helpful. There is not much to do in the way of entertainments, etc but people go here for the peace and tranquility which are in abundance. The pitches are big and if the weather had been better I would certainly have made use of my private picnic bench! There was a nice walk off site for my two dogs which was also handy.

This is an outstanding campsite. The campsite is on a fairly big site, but enormous space between pitches so doesn't feel crowded. Facilities very clean. Showers are large & free. I saw them scrubbed by the owners every day. Each site is spacious & separated from the others (none of your regimented rows here!) with a picnic table for your exclusive use. Extremely quiet for those who enjoy their peace. Invergarry is a nice base for touring Scotland. Skye only an hour away & numerous little roads nearby that take you into the unspoilt wilderness areas. Inverness to the north for those who can't keep away from the shops.

Faichemard Farm Touring Caravan and Camping Site Invergarry
Stayed here for 2 nights in August 07. Very beautiful area and the site was very quiet (except for some bird..an owl maybe?...calling loudly late at night). The site was pretty wet due to a lot of rain and the midges were ferocious ( our first experience with these little bloodsuckers!!) I'd rather camp in the fall to avoid these buggars next time. The owners were very friendly and helpful, but we did find the showers/toilets a bit "rustic" from other campsites. Alll in all a very good experience...the no kids policy is a bonus.

If you want peace and quiet, fresh air and beautiful surroundings this is the place be.We stayed in July 06 and enjoyed it thoroughly even though the weather wasn't great.Mr.Grant was extremely friendly and helpful giving us advise on the local area. Our pitch was excellent and the facilities comparable to bigger sites. To get away to a place like this far from the hustle of the city was magical. We would recommend this site for people looking for peace and quiet and fantastic views. Also a good place to stay while exploring the area

Excellent site if you are looking for tranquil and pretty surroundings and clean, effective facilities. Very quiet and peaceful with an air of respect and friendliness from both owner and fellow visitors. Very clear ground rules re noise and acceptable behaviour generally, lots of space with clear delineation of your own area including a useful table/bench at each pitch, seems to attract a mature and calm type of visitor which suited us well.

A memorable and relaxing holiday
We had the most fantastic time at Faichemard Farm in mid April 06. The beauty of the site was second to none. Plenty of space between pitches allowed privacy and seclusion. The wildlife was abundant, my wife spent a good few hours simply watching the Buzzard fly overhead! The views were unbelievable and i managed to take 263 photos of scenery, birds and animals simply from my pitch!! The people were friendly and helpful and due to them being natives we picked their brains for good walks, places to visit etc. Mr Grant, the owner, did give us a few tunes on the bagpipes which just finished off our holiday nicely, brilliant way to encapture the true feel of the Scottish Highlands! A wonderful holiday and well worth another visit. (Be careful not to go into the first site on the way up the hill, this appeared to be far too sterile and lacking in Highland charm, how glad we are that we found the Faichemard Farm site!!!)
