The banks of the River Jed provide a perfect setting for this peaceful country Caravan Park, 4 miles south of Jedburgh, off the A68. Nestling in its own beautiful wooded ravine, a perfect sun trap and sheltered from wind, Jedwater Park is owned by Maureen and Neil Gibson. Holidaymakers can always be sure of a warm and friendly welcome at both the Caravan Park and the family farm, where you could feed the ducks and hens and meet our Shetland ponies. Come at the right time and you might see some new born lambs.

Jedwater Caravan Park
Good location, sheltered valley spot. Spoiled by lack of facilities. Nothing within walking distance, no club, restaurant or entertainment at all. Some plots a bit cramped together, although green open aspects and the lovely river kind of compensate. Shop only open for an hour, apart from that there are no facilities without driving to them. Pity that there wasn't just a little bit more 'something'.

Great site
We have just spent a lovely week at this park, kids had a ball plenty of room to play footie and rounders. went paddling in the river Jed and even caught a fish! kids were a bit disappointed there were no trampolines but owners told us it was for health and safety reason that they no longer have them however there was still plenty for us to do.

Jedwater caravan site
I stayed here at the end of a long weekend camping. I must admit of the 3 campsites I visited over the weekend this was by far the poorest. The advert talks of animal for the kids to see and trampolies. None of these were evident when we where there. The playgrounds are fairly well "used", and require a bit of maintenance, the one for the older kids having some rusty screw heads sticking out. The shower block was OK, but not great. There were electric showers, but the lighting in the block was poor and the fittings again appeared "worn". The ground was hard, althought the grass was established. I bent a few pegs whilst pitching my tent. on the whole I would discribe the site as a bit expensive for what youn get in comparision to other sites in near by towns.
