Total pitches: 60 Pub within 1 mile Open from Apr to Oct Our view: Spent a week here some time ago and again with a group of young people doing their Silver DOE in early 2004. Great location for peace and quiet. Superb walks from the site. Shop onsite . Bar close by. Level campsite. Facilities new in 1998. guide

Lochranza Caravan and Camping Site We stayed here for 5 nights on our first visit to Arran. The owners are very friendly and run a relaxed, informal site where you are free to choose your own pitch on a large flat grassy area beside the golf course. There is an area of hardstanding for those that wish it. Facilities are basic but adequate plus the cafe on site is very convenient for breakfast/coffee/evening meal. Lochranza seems to be the most beautiful area of a beautiful island - great for walking, cycling and watching wildlife - red deer wander around the village. We will be back. Lochranza Caravan and Camping Site Stayed here for a couple of nights May 07 , really good, well maintained site. Staff did there job as expected, no worries there. Had an incident with a drunk in the early hours , got the wrong tent when trying to get home. but not a major issue. The deer are fantastic, amazing location, lovely river runs by the site. one peice of advice, if your camping, get some strong awning pegs, and the ground is very rocky and normal pegs dont stand a chance. Lochranza Caravan and Camping Site Spent a few days here in July 2006 , and loved every minute of it. Its a really friendly site and is ideally sited a short pleasant walk from the Lochranza hotel. The owners were very helpfull and the facilities were spotless and well maintained. There are some great walks in the area and the views are simply breathtaking. The brodick bus stops right outside the site,so you dont even have to take the car,I will be back again this summer for sure. Lochranza Caravan and Camping Site Myself, wife and two boys stayed a few nights in July '06 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A beautifully kept site in some of the most amazing scenery i've ever been in. Waking up to see such fantastic landscape every day should be everybody's dream! Yes, the facilities may be a bit on the basic side, but the positives far out-weigh the negatives. The only reason I gave onsite facilities 4 stars was that the gent's showers didn't work properly one night. And there aren't really any kids facilities, but you don't need any when you have an island this beautiful to explore. If you're having second thoughts about visiting this area, you'll never know what you'll be missing. Just go. You won't regret it. best camp site One of the best camp site on the Island, the owner of the site could not be more welcoming and helpful, the site is compact but well managed and the scenery is mind blowing. A big thank you to the camp owner from the 13 year old with the baby bottle.
