It has one of the best locations on Scotland's west coast, the thirty acre park - which has been awarded the David Bellamy Conservation Award - is situated on a two-mile sand and shingle beach on Ardmucknish Bay where sailing, watersports and safe bathing can be enjoyed. Some pitches are almost at the waters edge and all pitches face the sea and enjoy a panoramic view to the beautiful Isle of Mull.Quiet relaxing park set on the shore of Ardmurcknish Bay. Good walking areas locally. NO TENTS. Great views out to sea from this well maintained site.

North Ledaig Caravan Park our second home My wife and I, have been going to this site for over 30 years, it's like a second home to us. The people are so friendly and helpful, and when the sun shines it's the best place on earth. We hope to visit for many more years yet, we cant stress enought how wonderful this place is, well worth a vist. North Ledaig Caravan Park Must be one of the best sites in Scotland. Fantastic facilities, well looked after, friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful location. Even free busses to Oban for old Scottish codgers like us from just outside the reception area and, in our experience, very few midgies. What more could anyone want? North Ledaig Caravan Park Just returned from another 6 nights at North Ledaig and werent dissapointed even although it was our 10th visit.The site was full to capacity we were situated on the edge of the loch (5 yards from the beach ) the weather we had from the time of arriving till Tuesday ( our 4th night ) was excellent. As always the staff were excellent and the facilities were first class. See you next year. North Ledaig Caravan Park - PARADISE ! Just came home tonight after 9 days at North Ledaig. Went for 3 & stayed for 9 ! And, we've booked for another 10 days in July. Think we may have more of the same before the season finishes. Quite simply the best site that we have experienced - & we always use Caravan Club 5. You would need to look hard for any negative points at this site. Plenty to do around this area whether you are feeling energetic or just 'chilling out'. Staff efficient & always willing to help & advise. North Ledaig Caravan Park I stayed on this site about 10 years ago and hated it, I felt it was too big and flat, too busy and didn't find the staff helpful. I don't know what possessed us to give it another try last week but I am so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent and spotless, the views were beautiful and we had a lovely relaxing weekend. The park wasn't full and didn't look as big as I remember it but did seem more spacious. Perhaps it would be too busy for me in summer but at beginning of season this is a lovely place to be. Just goes to show that it is always worthwhile giving places a second chance. North Ledaig Caravan Park Nice site, but absolutely huge! This is the first site we've been to where we've thought that a scooter or bike would be useful to get around. Lovely pitches, most of which have views out to sea. Although it's a big site it was very pleasant and remarkably quiet. Good play area for younger children, excellent shop on site. North Ledaig Caravan Park We have been Caravanning for 8 Years now and keep returning here year after year (sometimes twice a year).We were actually booked to go elsewhere this year but cancelled and decided to come back to North Ledaig you can't beat it . North Ledaig Caravan Park My husband & I , and dog have just stayed at this site and I ccan't praise it enough ( I would have given 5* for the facilities , but they don't have a bath , and that's one thing I miss while motorhoming ) The views are fantastic , and if you like taking phot's then this is the biz for 'sunsets'. The site is kept spotless , even the hookup points were given a wash-over once a day ! It's next to an airfield , just a small one , which does not intrude at all we felt , plus , it was excellent watching the planes real close. Brilliant for young boys ( and not-so-young ) You can walk into Benderloch , the next village north. It's only about a 10 minute walk and has a petrol station /shop which sells all sorts of stuff , including waterproofs......handy if like us , you forgot yours. At the side of the garage is a Forestry Comm. walk , one 1 hr and another 3 hrs. We done the 1 hour and it was worth all the muttering & puffing I did to get there , the view was a joy to behold ! I am not a 'natural walker' being a follower of the 'now the wheel has been invented we should make the most of it' brigade. So , if I can walk it , anyone can.. Speaking of wheels.. We caught the bus into Oban ( the only decent place to park a large motorhome in Oban is at Tescos ) The bus ride took 20 mins , perhaps a little less. It hugs the loch so you get beautiful scenery going past your window , and , at £5 for two adults ( and dog , Alice ) return tickets , it's not overpriced. We only went into Oban to have a wander round , any groceries we needed we bought at the site shop at reasonable prices. How we have managed to miss this site on our travels around Scotland I don't know....it's brilliant ! But... Don't tell everyone cos it's one of those 'havens' you want to keep to yourself ! North Ledaig Caravan Park I had a bit of a problem finding this site as none of the Oban ones seem to have the usual road-signs directing you to them but it was worth the effort! Friendly staff directed us to a pitch which was almost on the beach and we were treated to the soothing sound of lapping waves throughout our short stay. The facilities were excellent and spotless with the added bonus of the bustling town of Oban only fifteen minutes drive away. I could not rate this site any higher. North Ledaig Caravan Park This is a great site in a great location. Stayed here for one night in Sept 2006. t's big and very well established. Facilities are excellent with lots of showers, hot water, toilets, laundry, shop etc. Situated right on the water and generally very well maintained. First Class This site will appeal to all ages and is close to Oban.We have used this site twice this year and on each occasion the staff have been very friendly. The facilities are spotless and this site is highly recomended.
