THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO TENTS AND TOURERS (AS OF JUNE 2010). The site continues to run for 100 residential caravan owners and well over 20 owned chalets (residential homes ). It is hoped new owners will be found in the near future to continue its opperation. This previouse information is left for information only. Under new ownership in 2009 this site again accepts tents along with tourers as before. The site has its own club and entertainment. Located off the B822. Fishing available onsite. Balgair Castle has 63 touring pitches, each with adjacent electric hook-up, fresh water and drainage, along with an elsan disposal area in the park. Excellent toilet and shower facilities, and also a separate area for vegetable preparation and dishwashing. Owner John Hartley. Balgair Castle Park is a family site and does not accept bookings from large parties of the same sex.
