This link in a frame Category: Nithsdale One of Galloways most scenic farms which is based apon a medieval farm settlement. Set on a working farm of 300 acres with wooded parkland and ponds. Woodland paths and large natural play area for children. Wigwam bothies if needed. Pitches are either hardstanding or grass. Wildlife all around. Find site off the A75, follow sign for Shawhead then to T junction where you take a right, 1 mile.

Barnsoul Farm Caravan Site Our family has been to Barnsoul Farm three times in the last two years. Its ideallic, a real relaxing holiday where the kids can do a spot fishing, roam the woods and have campfires at night. Everyone (staff and other happy campers) have always been very welcoming, and the whole place just has a great atmosphere, the owners have a great interest in conservation and the wild flowers in summer are left beside neatly cut grass. The wigwams are deceptively big and comfortably sleep six, its great value for money. We enjoy it so much we have planned to go back again! If you are looking for a holiday with evening entertainment, arcades and pubs, then this isn't the one, but theres just as much to do, we've still got loads to explore!! Barnsoul Farm Caravan Site Fantastic chilled out site with a lovely warm welcome and superb camping facilities plus a Toni and Guy hairdryer in the shower room which my girlfriend adored!!. Great walks within the site boundries with free use of bikes for children, a campfire on a specific spot and even a portaloo so you didn't have to trek too far after some nice red wine!! I would recommend this campsite to everyone. Barnsoul Farm Caravan Site WHAT A SITE.....I'VE BEEN COMING TO THIS SITE SINCE I WAS A KID AND ITS BEEN GREAT TO SEE IT CHANGE FROM NOTHING TO A GREAT, RELAXING AND LOVEY LOOKING SITE. LOVEY OWNERS AND GREAT CAMPERS...ITS A MUST GO IF YOU WANT TO RELAX AND THERES ALSO A PART OF THE CAMP WHERE YOU CAN FISH....GREAT FOR KIDS AND ADULTS. Barnsoul Farm Caravan Site Simply the best site we have visited. Picture postcard location and friendly warm welcome made a good start then you discover the facilities. We loved it and will be back. The wildlife is worth the journey alone. thank you for a lovely break.
