The view from the caravan window alone is worth the journey. The site is quiet and tranquil with almost a 180 degree panorama to the Ochil Hills, where in autumn the purple heather and golden bracken are brilliant. The nearby Gartmorn Dam country park and nature reserve offers a ranger service of guided walks and there is excellent fishing. In Dollar Glen, Castle Campbell and the National Trust woodland will make an interesting day out. Opening Dates -17 Mar to 29 Oct 2006. Caravan Club affiliated site. Owners Margaret and Brian Wood.
