This elevated site overlooks the historic town of Kircudbright providing panoramic views of the Solway Coast, Ross Island and the Twynholm Hills. At the lower end of the site is Hope Dunbar Park, a child'd play area. Sandy beaches at the Dhoon and Brighouse Bay are just a few miles away.

Our view: Visited in 2004 and enjoyed our stay. Easy walk down to the town where there are many facilities. Warden called morning and night otherwise you are on your own. Mostly seasonal vans used the site with one or two tents. Clean modern toilet blocks, free hot
