Total pitches: 50 Pub within 5 miles Open from Apr to Oct Our view: A fairly open site located on a working farm. Can be a bit exposed in windy conditions. Showers cost 10p. Campers kitchen for poor weather. Childrens activity play area. guide

Woodend Caravan Site Awesome panoramic views made this an ideal base for our three day stay. Site is in a great location for touring the far north west of Scotland and at these prices you should stay for as long as possible. The washroom blocks are good with nice warm showers but could do with a bit of modernisation. An excellent find and we will be back. Woodend Caravan Site i have been a regular visitor to this site for over 12 years.have stayed in tents static vans and now rent the cottage.facilities are first class from shower room to indoor kitchen and eating place to library and laundry room.if peace and quiet is your thing then look no further...nothing worse than getting woken up by some drunken campers getting back from the pub ...its 5 miles away.so join me sometime in paradise !!!! Woodend Caravan Site Great spot about 10 mins drive out of Lairg, unfortunately no pub or shop nearby. Stayed 2nd BH May 2007, blissfully quiet, good flat, well drained site. We were the only tent on site for a couple of the days we were there. Very useful industrial size kitchen to use that will allow you to escape the rain and midges !! Plentiful clean (although a little dated) facilities. I would recommend this site to anyone who doesn’t want to be crammed next to other campers. Woodend Caravan Site Nr Lairg I stayed here after arriving at Lairg Station by bike (I was heading North). Very nice, quiet campsite. Flat grassy ground, easy to pitch a tent and I wasn't affected by wind. There are showers and toilets and a camp kitchen and library with seating out of the weather. You will need your own stove and dishes. Beautiful scenery nearby and dramatic sunset and sunrise (hopefully!).
