Isle of Jura Hotel Camping Very friendly little site - actually just the local field. Nice welcoming bar at the hotel which does generous portions at good prices - there's also now a bistro across the road. It's only downside is that as it's quite sheltered, it can get very midgy in the middle of summer. Jura campsite Very friendly campsite.....does not even charge, only asks for a donation! There is a toilet and shower block with hot showers/loos and wash-hand basins in a block. ?1 per shower which is very reasonable given the free camping. There is also a launderette attached. They ask for a donation to local charities....perhaps something should go towards an activities centre for teenagers as they hung around the hotel doing what teens do! Short grass, but can fill up and get rather crowded. Best views ever!. Recommended....oh and the food in the hotel bar is cheap and excellent.
