This link in a frame Category: Banff and Buchan Situated on the east side of Fraserburgh known locally as the Broch, overlooking the Esplanade and large beach included in the marine conservation society's good beach guide are golden sands that stretch round the bay to the Waters of Philorth and its Nature Reserve. To the west side are industrial properties and fish processing factories. Short walk to shops and hotels in the town. Close to lighthouse museum and heritage centre. Local leisure centre and swimming pool.

Esplanade Caravan Park This was my first vist to this site but it won't be the last. The pitches are generous and well marked out and clearly numbered. The warden was very informative about places to visit and things to do. The toilet and shower facilities on site were spotless clean all the time with plenty of hot water available. Dishwashing and laundry facilities were also kept very clean and tidy. The view over the bay from my pitch was excellent. There is no playpark here for children but there is one just a short walk away, as well as tennis courts, putting, ten pin bowling and swimming pool. For shopping there is a Tesco and Lidl within walking distance. At £15 per night I thought this site was excellent value for money. Esplanade Caravan Park I live in the town of Fraserburgh and find that the caravan park here ,although not the best i've been to, is still quite good.
