The small intimate Caravan Park is a fine base to explore the East Coast or the glens of Angus. Glamis Castle, childhood home of the late Queen Mother, is nearby, as well as other National Trust properties. The Caravan Park has easy access from the main A90 Dundee - Aberdeen trunk road and is, therefore, ideally situated for a touring stopover. You are greeted by the large white farm building with its historic mill where, in the past, 2 horses powered the thrashing machinery. It is now our Coffee Mill Cafe and Restaurant where you can enjoy a daytime lunch or an evening meal ( Friday, Saturday and Sundays only) or, of course, just a cup of tea or coffee with home made cakes or bakes.
The Caravan Park is open to caravans, motor homes and tents from the end of March to the end of October. It is spacious and considered quiet (except for some road noise) and in the last 2 years has been upgraded and improved. As well as the showers and toilets in the main building, there are, during the season, modern portacabin facilities with hot showers for ladies and gents in the park.
