This link in a frame Category: Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay This is a small, family run park with static caravans overlooking the bay. There are spaces for touring caravans, motor homes and tents at the top of the site. Electric hook-ups, modern toilet block with showers and dish washing facilities with ample hot water are available. There is a disabled toilet. Tayvallich is a small fishing village on the shores of Loch Sween. The bay is a haven for boats of all kinds and a very safe environment for young children learning rowing and sailing. One mile away is Carsaig Bay , which has a nice sandy beach (when the tide is out) and is a great place for children to play and swim. In the village itself there is a pub and restaurant, grocery store, coffee shop and playpark.

Leachive Caravan Park It is with great regret that I find myself writing this review, I do not wish this to attract future visitors for fear of ruining this wonderful piece of Scotland. This is a thankyou to the owner for making me and my mate welcome, the site is beautiful and thankfully with very little for children to do, makes it ideal for romantic quiet getaways with your loved one, leave the noisey kids at home please!. Leachive Caravan Park Brilliant site. Owner very friendly and helpful. Facilities very good and clean, shower powerful and spacious, Soap in the basin. Coffee shop and Pub nearby both serving good food/drink. Surrounding location fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone. Leachive Caravan Park Just returned from 14 nights in Tayvallich / Leachive what a great site really friendly, helpful people. Very dog friendly, great scenery and wildlife, if you are looking to get away from it all and relax then this is the place to go. Carsaig beach great for swimming and snorkelling as well as fishing. Soap in the loos would be a great finishing touch though. Leachive Caravan Park great, friendly, well run and supervised site. site is dog friendly and area is parrot friendly- you will need to visit to work this one out. site could do with a small shop selling the basics. beautiful area, though tide was in when we went over the hill, so never got a chance to see the cows on the sand at carsaig beach. Leachive Caravan Park I have visited this site on two occasions and have found it to be a well run site. The site owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The scenery is out of this world, and there is plenty of wild life in the area. It is a must visit site a truly wonderful experience. Type of accommodation: Tent Comment by A.
