Deerness Community Centre Caravan and Camp Site Thanks for the review Ruud. Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again. We aim to please and it's nice to know that we get it right at least some of the time. We sometimes camp after an event. There is a play area with facilities for the kids now. Deerness Community Centre Caravan and Camp Site Stayed here for almost a week in Augus 2008. Good ground for tenst; shower and toilet (clean, modern, disabledfriendly) in outside part of community hall. It's not a real campsite, but it is great site for camping. peaceful, aprx. 20 minutes by car from Kirkwall. Shop is nearby. What else do you need? Only downside: pub is far away, so take yoru cans of bottles with you. Will I go back to this site: yes! Type of accommodation: Tent Comment by Ruud F.
