Eviedale Centre Camp Site Excellent site(on both sides of the road).Quiet evenings,an occassional midge attack.A brilliant place for exploring the island(s). Reply from: colin richardson, retired farmer and site owner. Thanks for the review, Just the type of campers we want. Folk who, like ourselves,, prefer to be away from the crowds in the peace and quiet of a countryside setting while still being suitably placed to enjoy the best that Orkney has to offer. As we say - safe and simple camping without the frills.

Eviedale Centre Camp Site Pleasant rural campsite next to farms with breath-taking views. Great pitches on soft, level ground and facilities a short hop over the road (more pitches next to facilities). Showers cost 20p but were handsomely warm and lasted plenty. Become a ‘guest’ at the ‘club’ 2-minutes walk up the road on Tuesdays and weekends, run by the locals where you can have a drink and a chat. Great location for travelling round the island with so many things close at hand. Most accommodating. Eviedale Centre Camp Site We stayed here in summer 2006. It's a lovely, small site with fabulous views over to Rousay. Very friendly, simple, clean and well kept - a real gem.
